Boat Dive then picknic at Mud Island bird sanctury !

Meet at the top carpark at Sorrento boat ramp by 7.30 for a 7.45 launch.

Slack water is 8.50am at the heads, so we will aim to be in the water soon after 8.

After the morning dive we will all meet on Mud Island for a picnic lunch.  Its not muddy at all, its a beutiful sandy beach with lots of shells and millions of nesting birds.  This is the peak bird nesting season, you will see many chicks.  We wil ask some of the club twitchers to share their knowledge.  Last Year Nevil Amos led the group with his experiences as part of the research team.

There is no shade or shelter, so prepare for the elements as they present!

Boats will be launching from Queenscliff and Sorrento ramps, please let Andrew McKernan know which side you  prefer to launch from.
