Purposes

Our purposes:

• promote, encourage and support recreational scuba diving and related activities within Victoria
• provide a welcoming and harmonious environment to existing, new, and prospective members
• continually improve safety of scuba diving, plus related sports and activities, in the Club
• promote, encourage and support scuba diving related excursions and trips by the Club within Victoria, Australia and Internationally
• liaise with, enter into partnerships with, or other arrangements, or provide reciprocal concessions or otherwise with, other like organisations
• collect, maintain and distribute reports and information about diving activities and trips, plus other items of general interest, to Club members
• co-operate in securing legislation and the formation of proper rules and regulations governing scuba diving or related activities in Victoria
