VSAG boat owners want our club "Boat Captains" to share knowledge and advance our skills.

Please note: this is not basic training on how to drive a boat.  

We will arrange other opportunities for club members to practice basic boating skills.

This is to advance our skill sets beyond being a driver.

GPS targets, 

tidal knowledge, 

shot line setting, 

dealing with currents, 

open water boating,

confined space maneuvering, 

setting mooring lines,

negotiating the heads,

unexpected storm conditions, 

missing divers,

and other things that can unexpectedly go wrong.
