Aussie Skate™ is Ice Skating Australia's nationally accredited Learn to Skate program, designed for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Whether your goal is to skate for fun, improve your fitness, make new friends or eventually become a figure skater, Aussie Skate™ provides a fun, safe and supportive environment to learn the fundamentals of ice skating.

Lessons are conducted by qualified coaches in small group classes, allowing skaters to progress at their own pace while building confidence and developing essential skating skills. As skaters advance through the program, they earn badges and achieve recognised milestones along the way.

The Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink (COIR) offers Aussie Skate™ classes for both children and adults. If you're new to skating, this is the ideal place to begin your journey.
