Ready to Try Your First Competition?
Once you've started your Learn to Skate journey at the Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink, why not take the next step and experience the fun of an Aussie Skate™ competition?
Aussie Skate™ competitions are designed especially for skaters learning through the Learn to Skate program. They provide a friendly and supportive environment where you can showcase your skills, build confidence, meet other skaters and celebrate your progress.
Don't worry if you're not sure when you're ready to compete. Your coach and the Sydney Figure Skating Club (SFSC) will help you determine the right competition level and guide you through the process.
Before You Can Compete
To enter an Aussie Skate™ competition, you'll need to:
- Become a member of the Sydney Figure Skating Club (SFSC). Join SFSC here
- Become a member of the New South Wales Ice Skating Association (NSWISA). Join NSWISA here
- Know your Aussie Skate™ level.
Your coach will advise you which level you are eligible to compete in.
- Register for an Aussie Skate™ competition.
