Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club (SPASC) is a local sailing club for “off the beach” sailing craft both monohull and catamaran. Our purpose is to foster sailing through training and racing on our beautiful Lake Macquarie, one of Australia’s premier sailing locations.  We sail most Saturdays from the last Saturday in August through to ANZAC day in April each year plus run Junior sail training on Sundays and Friday Twilight Sailing during daylight saving hours. We welcome all sailors.

We are a friendly, family-oriented club and an Active Kids approved provider, catering equally to our monohull, catamaran and trailer sailer fleets.

Regardless of your experience level, we will find a class to suit you. 

SPASC can provide a Club Tasar, Laser, O'pen Skiff or Optimist dinghy for hire if you don't own your own boat.
