Sailing

Our sailing season runs from September through to April, with a short break over Christmas.

We sail on Saturday afternoons, running up to three races for a variety of off-the-beach dinghies. Racing is open to all members and we encourage sailors of all levels to participate, from beginner to experienced.

Visitors are welcome - we ask that you contact us in advance if you'd like to come and try sailing (OxleySC@gmail.com). Guests may utilise the SailPass option for their first three sails. Visiting sailors from other clubs are also welcome to sail however after three race days we ask that you join Oxley Sailing Club as well.

Racing Rules

The Racing Rules of Sailing are revised and published every four years by World Sailing. The latest version with Australian prescriptions is available on the Australian Sailing website.

Reporting Incidents

All safety incidents, even small safety risks, should be reported to the committee.
