Three Swimmers Head to York for Competition

Three swimmers from our community are gearing up for an exciting trip to York where they’ll compete in the York Open. The athletes – Max Brown, Archie and Sage Huckett – have been training hard for months, honing their skills at the local pool and preparing for this moment.
This marks an exciting milestone, as it’s the first time HASC has attended the York Open. The swimmers are keen to make a strong impression and pave the way for future club participation in this event.
The journey to York is not just about the race; it’s also a chance for the swimmers to experience new environments, meet fellow competitors and chase those last-minute Junior State Times. With their bags packed and spirits high, the trio is looking forward to representing their club and making the most of every opportunity both in and out of the water.
No matter the outcome, Max, Archie and Sage are sure to come home with stories of adventure, new friendships and memories from this swimming meet in York.
