Historic results

The first Goolwa Milang run by the GRYC dates to December 1969 although Bill Ballard and Bill Appleby were racing each other each year from 1966, organising the event from the Corio Hotel.

First over the line in that '69 race was Edith crewed by Bill Ballard, Geoff Byrnes, George Tilley and Doug Armfield. Chips Barclay followed the race in Kestrel, and afterwards at the Pier Hotel bought Edith.
