Meetings and Minutes
Informal sailing races were held at Goolwa as seasoned sailors moved there to work in the boat-building and river trade. The Goolwa Regatta Committee was formed in early 1854. The committee on 16 August voted to exclude employees of the whale fishing industry 'not being considered as amateurs'. Minutes from August 1854 are included here.
