17s, Under 20, Opens and Masters (30+)

Club competition and program: 

Competition nights will commence on Wednesday 21 October, and will be held on every two weeks over the 2026/27 season with a rotating program.Competition will pause over the Christmas school holidays.

Competition will begin at 6.00pm. Please make sure you arrive in sufficient time to prepare properly for the night ahead.

Athletes will need to assist in each eventas officials, officials’ helpers, timekeepers, recorders and equipment return etc. Many of our senior athletes are also involved in volunteering for Friday night competitions and already dedicate a lot of time to the club.

We cannot guarantee timing gates at every event but will have them at least once per month. On nights without gates, hand timing will be used.

Athletes who would like to participate in a regular competition can join in on a Friday night in a 17s/U20/Opens group.

Uniforms

If you do not have a uniform, you will be able to purchase it on Tuesday 8 or Tuesday 15 September from 5.30-6.30pm at the DAC Clubhouse, Barden Park (downstairs).

Uniforms are not compulsory for Wednesday competitions, but are compulsory if you wish to compete on Friday nights, and in any NSW Athletics competitions.

What Membership type should I choose?

There are different memberships available for athletes. The table below provides some guidance for Opens and Masters Athletes. If you are unsure, it is recommended that you purchase an Open Community Membership, noting you can always upgrade if you would like to. Memberships are valid from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026.
