Round 6 DAC Club CompetitionThis round is sponsored by The Macquarie Body & Health Centre. "We strive to provide the best quality of care, carefully tailored to your individual needs."
This is the last round of the year. We will be back in the New Year on Friday Febuary the 6th.
Athletics will go ahead even with the heat, safety measures will be in place (extra shade etc). Parents are responsible for making sure there children are well hydrated, sunscreen on and hats worn. Parents need to be present!
5pm: Tiny Tots. This will be the final round of Tiny Tots for the season. Tiny tots will be utilising the far east side of the athletics track. Parents will be required to be present. Older siblings will be unable to participate. PLEASE BRING A SPARE SET OF CLOTHES OR TOWEL AS WATER PLAY WILL BE INVOLVED IN TONIGHTS PROGRAM.
5:30pm – U6, U7, U8Please arrive by 5:20pm so we can start right on time.
• U6: Marshal at the 300m start line. This is located behind discus 2.
• U7 & U8: Marshal at their tubs at the south end of the track.
6.00pm - Relays13-15 yrs Country Champs teams, Opens and Masters.
6:30pm – U9 and UpPlease arrive by 5:45pm.
• Marshal at your age-group tubs at the south end of the track.
• Some age groups have been split due to large numbers.
This week we will have a special guest after the Relays.
Parent HelpersEach field event requires at least 3 parent helpers to support the age manager and coach.
If insufficient helpers are available, field events cannot proceed. Athletes must have a parent/guardian present at Barden Park to participate.
Safety Reminder• Do NOT enter the inside grassed track — field events are active and dangerous.
• Walk around the outside of the track at all times.
• Spikes permitted for U11+ only.
