Active Women & Girls Program Workshop - Empower Her
The Active Women and Girls Program aims to boost sport and active recreation opportunities for women and girls in Queensland, with the program dedicated to encouraging greater participation across all facets of sport and active recreation.
Join us on Sunday June 29th for our Empower Her workshop - hear the Olympic Gold Medalist, Lauren Burns, and Paralympic Bronze Medalist, Janine Watson about their empowering journies to achieve their goals, and attend education workshops on body maintenance & recovery, and nutrition.
Each attendee will receive an Empower Her workshop bag with items for use throughout the day, and take home packs from each educaiton workshop. Morning tea and lunch will be supplied.

Cost: $10 - TODAY ONLY

9:00am-10:30am: Guest Speaker - Lauren Burns (Taekwondo Olympic Gold Medalist, Sydney 2000)
10:30am-10:45am: Morning Tea
10:45-11:45am: Education Workshop 1 -
11:45am-1:15pm: Guest Speaker - Janine Watson (Taekwondo Paralympic Bronze Medalist, Tokyo 2020)
1:15pm-2:00pm: Lunch
2:00pm-3:00pm: Education Workshop 2
