Duncan is a Doctor, specialised in Emergency Medicine, and has been involved in the medical side of Taekwondo for over a decade – providing medical support at events, involved with the Medical Committee of AT, and as Team Doctor on overseas Taekwondo trips.
He remains a Taekwondo Parent: both sons competed (Kyorugi) at a national level and his daughter continues to compete internationally.
He is keen to see our athletes supported in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner – with an aim to growing our sport in Queensland, both in scale and success.
Britney Lack
Member Director
Britney has been training in Taekwondo since she was 11 years old. She has also been a club branch instructor at Russell Macarthur Taekwondo since 2017. Although young when she started, she never looked back and Taekwondo quickly became a fundamental part of her life. Through Britney’s dedication, ambition and commitment to the sport, she has taken on opportunities to not only teach other students but also use her experience to help some students become instructors and run their own club branches. Britney firmly believes that you must create your own opportunities and take them as they present themselves. As a member of the ATQ Board, Britney aims to: create exposure and opportunities for Taekwondo, help others gain similar experiences and find the same enjoyment as she has, develop Taekwondo across the wider community and help other young individuals develop, improve and succeed in their goals. Outside of Taekwondo, you can find Britney out in nature, reading or studying, as she is currently studying to be a veterinary nurse. Her experience growing up with Taekwondo is why she believes she can help provide a voice to the younger generation to ensure the continued development of Taekwondo.
