The board of Taekwondo Queensland appoints people to manage operational matters

Maddy Houston

Maddy is a Fourth Dan Black Belt, the Head Instructor of Factor10 Martial Arts and an Australian Taekwondo poomsae referee. Maddy began practicing Taekwondo in 2002 and has been competing in poomsae since 2005. Maddy has represented Australia in individual, team and freestyle poomsae, with some of her major international events being a World Taekwondo Universaide, Commonwealth Championships where she received a bronze medal, and World Championships. Maddy also holds a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science, and a Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport, and a Master of High Performance Sport. Maddy will be at our office at Sports House, and is be contactable via email when not in the office.

ATQ Tournament Committee

The ATQ Tournament committee works directly with the Tournament Director to plan and deliver ATQ tournaments throughout the year. The Tournament Committee co-ordinates and oversees bump-in and bump-out, poomsae and kyorugi marshalling, allocation of volunteers, and that our events run smoothly.
