Sailing
You don’t need any sailing experience. If you register to sail on a keelboat similar to those on the photos on this webpage you will be required to attend the safety briefing. All boats will be led by an experienced skipper.
We will do our best to make sure you will be on a boat with your friends and family. Children aged 10 to 18 may sail and will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For safety each adult can only supervise one child aboard a yacht.
Sailing at WMSC is accessible to people of all ages who do not require external mobility aids. If you require mobility aids and want to go sailing, check out the Queensland Sailability program here.
Onshore activities
Onshore, we’ll have fun activities such as learning sailing knots. It’s okay to come at any part of the day and just hang out and meet our crew. Just come along, we’re looking forward to meeting you!
