What a fantastic weekend of racing on Moreton Bay for the Founders Trophy. Great conditions and competition across the fleet made for excellent racing and a fitting tribute to the spirit of the club’s founders.
Division Winners:
Division 1 – Broadsword – David Looke (RQYS) Division 2 & Cruising – Danseur – Michael Easton (RQYS) Division 3 Trailer Sailers – Crosswind – Paul Greer (TSCQ) Division 4 Multihull – Fickle Wind – Perry Rolton (WMSC)Race Highlights:
The racing was tight across the divisions, with consistent performances making the difference over the two days. In Division 1, Broadsword edged out Gizmo and No Dough after a closely fought series, finishing on equal points but taking the win on countback. Across the fleet, competitive racing and great sportsmanship were on full display.
Well done to everyone who competed and helped make it such a great regatta. A fantastic weekend on the water.
