 Our Culture

At the West Coburg Redbacks we value an inclusive and supportive community above anything else.  We believe if we get the environment right then success of all forms will follow..

What’s T-Ball?

T-Ball is a modified softball game where players hit a ball off of a stand rather than hitting a moving pitch and introduces the fundamentals of softball to young participants and their families.  T-Ball is commonly played in schools in Victoria.

Home Run Heroes is a further modified version of T-Ball and designed to engage our youngest participants.

Who Can Play?

Our T-Ball program is designed for kids between the ages of 4 and 10 years old.  We have an Under 6 and Under 10 program.

When We Play?

Our T-Ball program is run from October to March with a weekday training session and games on Saturday mornings

Games commence on Saturday 3 October 2026 and finishes on Saturday 3 April 2027 and runs from 8.30am to 9.15am

Where We Play?

We train at the softball diamonds at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve.

For game days we play in the North West Softball League with teams from Hume City Softball Association (18 Rhyolite Drive Craigieburn), Northern Districts Softball Association (Mill Park Recreation Reserve) and Sunshine Softball Association (More Park) on Saturdays.  Venues for games rotates through the four association grounds.

What You Need to Play?

You’ll need to wear something your comfortable to exercise in, we’ll have all the gear for you to use until you are ready to buy your own.
