WEST COBURG REDBACKS
NOTIFICATION OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
In accordance with Clause 30(1) of the West Coburg Redbacks (WCR) Constitution, notice is hereby provided of the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM will be held at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve on Monday 14th July 2025 at 7.00pm. Supporting documentation shall be provided upon RSVP via Revsport.
The purpose of the AGM is to:
1. Confirm the Minutes of the 2024 AGM and any Special General Meetings (SGM) held since.
2. To receive and consider the Annual Report of the Committee on the activities of WRC during the 2024/25 Financial Year.
3. To receive and consider the financial statements of WCR during the 2024/25 Financial Year.
4. To elect the members of the Committee.
5. To confirm or vary the amounts (if any) of the annual subscription and joining fee.
8. Any other business of which notice has been given in writing no later than 7 July 2025.
An Agenda and reporting shall be provided electronically to members who have RSVP’d no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting.
All members are encouraged to nominate for positions on the Committee. All positions on the committee are available for nomination. A nomination form and a copy of the position description will be attached for your consideration. Please return to the WCR westcoburgredbacks@gmail.com prior to the commencement of the AGM.
Where more than one person nominates for a position, voting will be completed by anonymous ballot. Per Clause 13(2) of the Constitution, a member is entitled to vote if:
· they are a registered member of the club. Any member who is under 16 years of age can have a parent or guardian vote as their proxy.
· more than ten business days have passed since they became a member of the Club; and
· the member's membership rights are not suspended for any reason.
