Training Sessions

Come and Try:

We offer a free session where all are welcome to come and try out a session in any age group. If you are interested in trying out this fantastic sport, please contact us at Info.

Flippaball:

We offer a flippaball program to all children from 7 - 12 years old where we focus on learning various skills such as eggbeater, throwing and passing, and of course we aim to have fun. All are welcome with a condition that children must be able to swim 25 metres unaided. Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 7:00pm till 8:00pm. Cost: $125 per term.

Juniors U12s:

For those players born 2015 and 2016 we offer an U12 training on Wednesdays from 7pm - 8:30pm.

Juniors U14s:

For those players born 2013 and 2014, we offer an U14 training on Wednesdays from 7pm - 8:30pm.

Juniors U16s:

For those players born 2011 and 2012, we offer an U16 training on Mondays from 7pm - 8:30pm.

Senior Men and Women:

For those players over 16 years of age, training occursis on Mondays from 7pm - 8:30pm.

Please note: Players born 2009 and 2010 pay the junior registration.

*Note: Registration fee includes registration with Water Polo ACT and Water Polo Australia as well as a contribution to the costs of training and competing with Vikings.

Swim Training

We also offer group swim drills on a Monday and Wednesday from 6-7pm before training.

Competitions

Junior competition runs each Saturday throughout Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027. Junior competition games are mostly at the AIS, with a few games at local pools throughout the season.

Senior competition - All games are held at the AIS

Mens and Womens Premier is held on Tuesday night
Mens 2nd Division is held on Wednesday night
Womens 2nd Division is held on Thursday night
