We offer rowing programs for both students and non-students. Whether it's your first time in a boat, or whether you're training for the Olympics, we're the club for you.

About Us
The University of Western Australia Boat Club (UWABC) was established in 1919, and has a long history on the banks of Matilda Bay. Over iconic Boat Shed, constructed by Perth citizens, and later expanded by the US Navy & alumni, has been the centrepiece of WA rowing for a century. Through over a century of volunteer effort this shed has taught thousands of people how to row and been a "third place" for many uni students and professionals alike.
UWABC is a student-led, volunteer-driven club that welcomes rowers from all levels, from novices to State and Olympic representatives. As a UWA affiliate club we compete in Uni Games, as well as Rowing WA regattas and international competitions. This provides a supportive and inclusive environment for all our members. At UWABC, rowing is more than a sport - it is a way to connect, compete and grow, both on and off the work.
Our Vision
To be recognised as one of the top performing rowing clubs in Western Australia at both a domestic and national level including Uni Sports Nationals.
