About the Suncoast Eagles Inline Hockey Club
Welcome to the Suncoast Eagles Inline Hockey Club, the premier home for inline hockey on the Sunshine Coast! Operating proudly out of the Caloundra Rollerdrome, we are a passionate, family-oriented, and inclusive club dedicated to growing the fast-paced, thrilling sport of inline hockey.
As a non-competitive club, we welcome absolutely everyone, whether you are a seasoned skater, an ice hockey player looking for off-season floor time, or a complete beginner strapping on wheels for the very first time, there is a place for you in the Eagles family.
Our Unique Approach: Skill Over Age
We believe that player development, safety, and confidence thrive when players are matched with others at their same developmental level. Because of this, we group our kids by skill, not by age. Our progression pathway includes:
Weekly Schedule & Sessions
We run our regular programs every week of the school term (excluding public holidays):

Mondays (Junior Training): Running from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM for our junior divisions. Note: Specific session times within this window are dependent on your child's skill group.

Mondays (Senior Scrimmage): A fast-paced, organised social scrimmage for our senior players from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Wednesday Workshops: Held every Wednesday of the school term, this is a fantastic mixed junior and senior session led by two of our experienced coaches, focusing on skill development and game play.

Your family's safety and development are our top priorities.

Certified Coaches: Every single one of our coaches holds an official coaching certificate.

Child Safety: In line with Queensland requirements, every coach holds a current Blue Card for working with children.

National Affiliation: We are proudly affiliated with Skate Qld and Skate Australia, ensuring our club adheres to the required standards of national sporting governance.

We operate as a proud 'no drop-and-go' club. Our vibrant community relies on active participation, meaning parents, families, and volunteers are the backbone of our club. We work hand-in-hand with our executive committee to create a safe, supportive, and fun atmosphere rink-side.
