Life Members

Recognising Outstanding Contribution

Life Membership is one of the highest honours that can be awarded by Sunraysia Softball Association. It recognises an individual who has made a distinguished, significant or lasting contribution to the association.

While length of service may be considered when nominating someone for Life Membership, it is not the only measure. A person who has made an outstanding contribution over a shorter period may also be deserving of this honour.

When considering a Life Membership nomination, the association may consider factors including:

• The length and consistency of the person's service
• The quality and impact of their contribution
• Leadership and commitment to the association
• Contributions as a player, coach, umpire, scorer, volunteer or committee member
• Contributions to the development and growth of softball in Sunraysia
• The lasting benefit their contribution has provided to the association

Life Membership recognises those who have gone above and beyond in their service to Sunraysia Softball and whose contribution has helped shape the association for future generations.
