Every team needs a scorer, and scoring is a fantastic way to be involved in softball while supporting your team and players.

If your child plays softball, becoming a scorer is one of the best ways to be involved in their sporting journey. You don't need to be an experienced scorer to get started. Once you learn the fundamentals, scoring becomes straightforward and can be a really rewarding part of game day.

📝 What does a scorer do?

Scorers record what happens during the game, including:

Batting results
Runs scored
Outs
Pitching information
Player substitutions
Game results and statistics

Scoring helps teams, coaches and associations keep an accurate record of each game and track player and team performance.
