SUNRAYSIA SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION 

Sunraysia Softball Association Inc. was established in approximately 1947 playing at Mildura Senior College. It is believed that in 1946, some women from the army/airforce began teaching locals more about the game. Unfortunately, the game folded, however, restarted around 1966. Since then, each generation of players, umpires, scorers, coaches and supporters in Sunraysia have acted as custodians of the league. Our association shows that we set both high standards on and off the diamonds, as we have had major success in State Championships at both the Senior and Junior levels. 

The last local competition season was 2019/20, after a three-year break, in 2023/24 Sunraysia re-formed and competed in Riverland Softballs competition, as well as running a local social program. Located in Mildura, you can find us at the Old Aerodrome Sporting Complex, 11th Street Mildura.
