Many organizations offer Learn to Sail programs, holiday camps and weekend sailing programs. In South and Central Queensland, some are:

• Brisbane Sailing Squadron in Bulimba (Brisbane River)
• Southport Yacht Club at Hollywell
• Keppel Bay Sailing Club in Yeppoon
• Maryborough Sailing Club in Hervey Bay
• Maroochy Sailing Club (sailing at both Maroochydore & Mooloolaba) 
• Moreton Bay Boat Club at Scarborough on Moreton Bay
• Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club
• Port Curtis Sailing Club at Gladstone

Sabots are also sailed at Darling Point Sailing Squadron (Manly), Bundaberg Sailing Club, Cleveland Yacht Club, Sandgate Yacht Club, Queensland Cruising Yacht Club (Shornecliffe), Oxley, Brunswick Heads (NSW), and others.
