About

Established in 1985, Rural Athletics Centre is a community club promoting and encouraging the sport of athletics (track & field) as a competitive sport and for its social aspects, fun and fitness.  Our season runs March to September.

All ages from 3 years old are encouraged to be involved, whether it be starting with the basics with our play based activities for 3-5 year olds, competing from 6 years, officiating, coaching or general volunteering.  Athletics is a sport that suits all levels of fitness and ability and at RAC we encourage you to have a go, make new friends and enjoy a sport that has an event for everyone.

Affiliation with our peak body, Athletics Northern Territory also allows members to compete in Athletics NT meets including the NT Championships (9yrs+) and have the opportunity to be selected in NT teams for national and international competitions.  RAC athletes also compete at interstate events including SA Championships and NQ Championships.
