QUT Student Services, along with QUT Sport, are offering free sport programs for current QUT students who have received a voucher from QUT Student Services for Semester 2, 2026. To redeem this offer students are required to complete this form, identifying their program of interest.

Programs included;
Social Sport – QUT Social Sport runs six nights a week and includes Netball, 6-a-side Football, Touch Football, Volleyball and lunchtime Badminton and Pickleball. Students can register individually and are placed into teams, with an emphasis on connecting students from similar faculties and year levels to help build friendships and community on campus.
Kick Off – Kick Off is a Tuesday afternoon program aimed at supporting first year students to build connections and confidence on campus. Sessions combine skill development and modified games. We aim for a variety of sports to capture the students interest – Volleyball, Netball, Football and Touch Football. All students receive a T Shirt with the program and the program runs for 7 weeks in semester 2. At the end of the season players are sent the link to register for Social Sport.
Girls United – Girls united is delivered in partnership with QLD Football and provides a supportive female-only environment focused on skill development, confidence, and participation. The program uses modified games and social activities to create a safe and welcoming space for students of all experiences and levels.
Faculty Games – These are a fun, social competition where students individually register to represent their faculty in a one-night sporting event each semester. Semester 2 will have Football, backyard cricket or AFL 9s and an esport game with all participants receiving a free event T shirt and access to a post event BBQ to help build connection and faculty pride.
Free Programs – no vouchers required
Social Serve – Social Serve is a casual lunchtime drop-in program held at the beginning of semester, usually running from week 2 to 6. Designed to help students get active and meet new people in a relaxed environment. Sports vary each session, pickle ball, volleyball, badminton etc.. Teams are created on the day, and the focus is on participation, skill development and social connection.
Campus Activations – These run at the beginning of each semester and provide free, drop in opportunities for students to engage with sports tech on campus. Virtual Golf will be set up outside C Block at Kelvin Grove and near Your Space at Gardens Point, no bookings these are drop in sessions and promoted on QUT Sport Instagram.
Esports – It is free for students to join the arena and connect through casual gaming. Each semester QUT Sport hosts the Faculty games and clubs lead esports competitions across the year. In Semester 2 QUT leads the Intervarsity Championships for League of Legends and Motor Sim Racing. These events are promoted during welcome week and through QUT Sport Instagram.
