Join us for the upcoming season of Social Tennis (Open) on Wednesday nights as part of QUT’s Social Sport program. Wednesday night Social Tennis are for those who have played before, can overhand serve and rally. This competition is doubles only, however you can register as a Doubles Pair or as an Individual (we join you with another individual to make a doubles pair). Each night of competition you will play a 2 set match using the Fast4 Format of Tennis. If you are looking for something more social and are a beginner to Tennis, register for our Monday Social Tennis night.
Season Duration: 8 weeks
Daily Fixtures: 5.30pm - 10pm
Season dates: Wednesday 5th August - Wednesday 7th October 2026
No play dates: Wednesday 12th August and Wednesday 23rd September
Finish date: Wednesday 7th October
Wet Weather Make Up Rounds: Wednesday 14 & 21 October
Location: QUT Outdoor Sports Court, Kelvin Grove
*Student doubles teams must be QUT students.
*When registering as a Doubles team, you’ll receive an email to confirm when your team is set up and how to invite your doubles partner (within 4-5 business days).
*Individual registrations will be paired with another individual registration to make a doubles pair for the competition.
This is an open social competition with no restrictions on the gender make-up of each pair.
