The 30th Indigenous National University Games will be held in Newcastle from 29 June to 3 July 2026. This event brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander university students from across Australia to compete, connect, and celebrate culture through sport. This year’s Games will feature mixed competition across four sports: Touch Football, Basketball, Netball, and Volleyball.
Trial Dates and Details
To prepare for the Games, selection trials will be held on:
•     Monday, 23 March
•     Thursday, 26 March
•     Wednesday, 1 April
All sessions will run from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at the Kelvin Grove Campus.
The final team will be announced on 2 April. We encourage all interested students to attend the trials, showcase their skills, and contribute to building a strong and united team for this year’s competition.
