Queensland Walks works with communities, local government and partners to improve walkability for everyone. Our volunteers play an important role in supporting this work bringing local knowledge, lived experience, and a shared commitment to safer streets.
We’re currently inviting expressions of interest to join our volunteer program, starting with roles supporting our Safe Cities Safe Streets initiative.

Walk Leaders guide and host community walks, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for participants.
Safe Cities Safe Streets Walk Assistant
Walk Assistants support the delivery of community walks and help ensure everything runs smoothly.
