
You're invited to the Caloundra She Walks Here - Night Walk as part of Queensland Walks Safe Cities | Safe Streets project.
Queensland Walks and Volunteering Queensland with the support of Zonta Club of Caloundra City invite you to join this local community event, highlighting the importance of safe, walkable spaces for women and girls.
She Walks Here was developed by Queensland Walks as a pilot project through Volunteering Queensland funding. The aim of the pilot project is to work with communities, local government and partners to improve walkability for everyone by supporting volunteers through training and resources. Our She Walks Here volunteers play an important role in supporting this work bringing local knowledge, lived experience, and a shared commitment to safer street supporting our Safe Cities | Safe Streets initiative.
The Safe Cities | Safe Streets Initiative was developed in partnership with Queensland Walks, Zonta Club of Brisbane and the University of Queensland to explore how women and girls experience safety in public spaces, particularly after dark.

Date: Wednesday 7 October 2026
Time: 5.15pm for a 5.30pm start
Route: Walk commences at the Caloundra Library, then onto local streets and public spaces including the Caloundra Library, Caloundra Transit Centre and Caloundra Regional Gallery (approx 1.5km - 2km)
Meeting Point: Caloundra Library, 1 Omrah Avenue, Caloundra
