Dear Queensland Walking Alliance members,

It has been a fast paced year for everyone! From January on, we have not stopped and we're hearing the same from all our members. 

Queensland Walks is keen to bring the Alliance members formally together for a final meeting before the year closes. We'll be hosting two options to meet and discuss project and advocacy success, challenges, and the outlook for 2026. This is a time to recalibrate our work and our messages. 

• Meeting 1 will be hosted on Wed 26 November at 11am
• Meeting 2 will be hosted on Thurs 18 December at 11am. 

Agenda items are being confirmed, but we are aiming to have on the agenda: 

• State Government budget submissions 
• Green Pathways update
• Road safety agenda (including e-mobility) 
• E-mobility Inquiry, media update (RACQ / Bicycle Queensland / Qld Walks)
• Regional opportunities / 2032 for investment discussion 
• Cool paths and places for walking update 
• Your organisation priority item discussion here.

You are welcome to come to one or the other meeting, or both!

If you are unable to attend, please invite a delegate, and advise me who is attending so we can make them feel welcome.
