Queensland Walks, 10,000 Steps Program and Livingstone Shire Council invites you to join the Clayton Road and Scenic Highway, Lammermoor - Walkshop.
Walkshops are a combination of walking and workshopping and provide a practical way to assess an identified area (street, block or contained precinct) for walkability. This includes looking at footpaths, connections, crossings, safety, weather protection, direction, walking amenity, etc.
This Walkshops is exploring connections to nature and green space in Lammermoor.We will explore:
How walkable the identified area is
What helps or hinders walking, rolling, or strolling
Ideas to make the area more walkable and connected
Date:Wednesday 27 August 2025 Time:10.00am - 12.30pm Where we'll walk: Through the local area, including Scenic Highway and Clayton Road, finishing at Olive Dorey Park Meeting Point:Scenic Highway, near Williamson Creek public toilets
Post-walk conversation: We will continue the conversation at Olive Dorey Park.
