🐾 Built By Our Community

Published Tue 01 Sep 2026

Sometimes the best Panthers stories start with a simple conversation.

Three years ago, Keiko approached Panthers after spotting training at Bayside. Having previously played softball and with a young son keen to get involved, she was encouraged to come and give Panthers a try.

Since then, Keiko and her family have become an important part of the Panthers community.

Keiko coached within our junior program for two seasons while Kenji developed through our U12 pathway, joining as an eight-year-old. Over time, Keiko also returned to playing, earning B2 MVP honours in her second season and continuing her softball journey with Panthers this year.

Today, Keiko remains heavily involved in the club, supporting junior softball, scoring for our U12 team and continuing to encourage Kenji as he progresses through our junior pathway.

Most recently, Keiko generously designed and produced promotional material for Panthers, helping us share our club with new players and families throughout the community.

Stories like Keiko's are a reminder that Panthers is built by the people who choose to be part of it.

From players and coaches to scorers, volunteers, parents and supporters, every person helps shape the culture and community that make Panthers such a special club.
