💳 Registration Fees & How to Register

💰 Reduce Your Registration Fees

At Panthers, we understand that the cost of sport can place pressure on families.

That's why we offer several ways to reduce the cost of participation.

Play On! Sport Vouchers for eligible junior players

Friday Night Fundraising Program, which allows members to earn fundraising points and receive end-of-season fee reimbursements

Afterpay options (where available)

Many Panthers members significantly reduce their out-of-pocket costs through participation in these programs.

💳 Understanding Panthers Registration Fees

Panthers registration fees are made up of several components, including:

✅ Softball Australia Membership

✅ Softball Queensland Membership

✅ Brisbane Softball Association Competition Fees

✅ Panthers Club Registration Fee

These fees help ensure players can participate in the Summer of Softball season and allow the club to continue providing opportunities, resources and support for members.

What Do Your Fees Cover?

Your registration fees contribute towards:

🥎 Team participation in Brisbane Softball Association competitions

💡 Training ground hire, including field lighting

🥎 Batting cage hire and training facilities

🥎 Equipment purchases and maintenance

🎉 End-of-season celebrations and club activities

📈 Player development resources and programs

🏆 Recognition and club initiatives throughout the season

❤️ Ongoing support for members and families

Registration fees help cover far more than simply taking the field on a Saturday.

BSA vs Permit Registration

BSA Registration

BSA Registration is for players whose primary club is Panthers and who participate in Brisbane Softball Association competitions through Panthers.

Permit Registration

Permit Registration is available for players who are already registered with another softball association or competition and wish to play for Panthers under a permit arrangement.

Permit players must ensure their Softball Australia and Softball Queensland membership components have been paid through their home association before completing their Panthers permit registration.

Before You Register

Panthers asks all prospective players to:

  1. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
  2. Confirm team placement with the club.
  3. Be allocated to a team and have that team ratified by the Panthers Committee.
  4. Contact the club to obtain the correct registration link.
  5. Complete registration and payment.

This process helps ensure players are registered in the correct competition, team and registration category.

Once Your Team Is Confirmed

Once you have been allocated to a team and that team has been ratified by the Panthers Committee, your coach and/or manager will ask you to contact:

📧 secretary@pantherssoftballclub.com.au

The Secretary will then provide the correct registration link and any information specific to your registration category, including payment options, permits, Play On! vouchers and fundraising opportunities.

If you are unsure whether you should register as a BSA player or a Permit Player, please contact the club before registering.
