This second payment of $3,000 is to secure your spot in one of the NSW containers. 

We have 16 boats that have paid a deposit and we are planning on shipping 2 x 40 foot containers to Okinawa.

The total estimated cost of shipping the two containers to Japan is $4,000 per boat. 

It allows for some contingencies and, importantly, it assumes that Japan Tasar Association will carry the cost of the local cartage from Nara to Kunigami and back. This is a significant cost that JTA has generously offered to cover.

Any cost overrun will require an additional contribution from each boat owner and likewise any underspend will be redistributed back to each boat owner.

This is a short turnaround as we need your confirmation before we can submit our carnet and book the containers.
