Tasar 50th Celebration: Day 1 - Fun Race Day for all.  

This is a fun race day for all our current and former sailors of any age.  

Former Sailors - this is your chance!

Are you a former Tasar sailor? Relive those past glories! 
If you ever sailed a Tasar as skipper or crew register, and we'll team you up with a current boat owner.
Join in the fun and relive some past experiences and share some dodgy wisdom.

Current Sailors

If you are a current owner you can choose to sail with your regular crew or with a former sailor.  Let us know at registration.
Join in the fun regardless!

Fun Sprint Races

• Open to all past and present Tasar sailors.
• Arrive at Northbridge Sailing Club, Bethwaite Ln, Northbridge NSW 2063 from 1130 onwards.  All sailors will receive assistance to carry boats down the stairs.
• Briefing: 1330 hrs
• Start: 1400 hrs
• Cost: Free

• Sailing Instructions: More info at the briefing.  There will be several short course sprint races. Four races planned with one drop of your worst result. No drops for 3 or less races.
  

• Parking:
  Parking in Minimbah Rd or Sailors Bay Rd. You should drive down to the club, unload your boat and then drive back up with your trailer to the parking area (limited trailer parking near the club).

• Overnight:
  The Club has advised us that boats can be left on the deck at NSC overnight for sailing the next day. The area is well lit overnight, however, it is a public area and we will not be providing security. So it is at owners’ risk. If possible, covering your boat provides added protection.

This race is followed by our traditional sparking wine, cheese and biscuits.
