Welcome to the Northam Hockey Club 2025 Season
The Northam Hockey Club (NHC) is part of the Avon Hockey Association. NHC facilitates hockey teams for junior and senior players. Please read the information below before you register.
Juniors
The Northam Hockey Club provides the opportunity for junior members to join one of the teams based on their school year. Each team is part of the same grade, consisting of both girls and boys. This 2025 year the club will build the following teams;
Two 5/6 teams for school years 6 and under
Two 7/9 teams for school years 7 to 9
Two 10/12 teams for school years 10 to 12.
Minkey is for members who wish to learn to play hockey. Recommended for ages 4 to 8.
At registration, please nominate your school year. All players will be placed in teams based on creating balanced Northam teams to compete in the Avon Hockey Association. Automatic considerations are made for players residing outside of Northam (as previously done). Any other team requests need to be in writing to the committee (northamhockeyclub@gmail.com) before the season starts and will be considered by the committee on a case by case basis.
The Northam Hockey Club continues to support players from Cunderdin Ag College. These players will be required to pay NHC fees under the Cunderdin Registration Only selection.
Junior Fees
The Junior fees for the 2025 season are as follows.
Hockey Australia Levy $56.81 (payable only once per calander year)
NHC Shirt/Equipment bond $10.00 (not applicable for Cunderdin Players)
NHC Fees $130.00
TOTAL $196.81 (186.81 for Cunderdin Players)
Minkey Fees
For players wishing to learn how to play hockey, the Northam hockey club offers a short program (one school term).
Hockey Australia Levy $22.81 (payable only once per calander year)
Minkey Pack (optional) $65.00 (Includes bag,stick and ball.)
NHC Fees $25.00
TOTAL $112.81 ($47.81 without minkey pack)
Fees are payable online at the time of registration which will incur a 2.0% +$0.60 fee for payments online (this is a revoultioniseSPORT platform charge and not from NHC).
Fees are required before you play. Other payment options include kidsports vouchers and payment plans. Please see the following for more information.
NHC is a kidsport eligible club. Up to $196.81 is eligible to be used with your kidsport voucher.

Before registration, please apply for your kidsport voucher, once you receive your code please email the code to the club treasurer Allison (illafergub@gmail.com).
You will receive instructions by email on how to apply your Kidsport voucher to your fees.
Please note, the $56.81 Hockey Australia Levy can not be discounted through revoultioniseSPORT and will need to be paid at the time of registration. Northam Hockey Club will refund you the Hockey Australia Levy to your bank account.
Payment plans
If you wish to pay your fees through a payment plan. Please contact the club Treasurer Allison (illafergub@gmail.com). The $56.81 Hockey Australia Levy and $25 club fees are payable up front ($81.81). The remaining $115 can be paid over a schedule that suits you.
Seniors
Players over 19 years of age register as seniors and pay the Hockey Australia Levy $68.79
Plus $250 club fees. This is a new per player fee payable upon registration instead of the previous team fees paid.
Juniors playing with Seniors
Juniors wishing to play with Seniors as a full senior member as well as a full junior member will pay $250 plus hockey Australia Levy ($56.81). This covers both junior and senior memberships.
For 18 year olds outside school, select the same Junior playing with Seniors membership.
Fill in players
Players that wish to fill in for up to 3 games can play a reduced membership fee. This will be $30 plus Hockey Australia fees ($56.81 juniors, $81.81 seniors).

If you started with a fill-in membership and wish to play more games and qualify for finals, you will need to pay the remaider of the full player membership fees. ($110 for juniors, $220 for seniors).
