TEAM MANAGER ROLE

Following are the activities for those generously stepping into a team manager role.

SEASON START 
  • Team Comms – set up team chat and add all parents
  • Uniforms - Hand out shirts and record shirt numbers and deposits.
  • Umpires - Setup umpire roster to your team based on schedule. (you are not required to find the umpire. The rostered parent will need to find an umpire).
  • Canteen - Allocating canteen roster to your team based on schedule
  • Fruit/lolly roster - Set up roster and advise in team chat
  • Team webpage - Checking team webpage details are correct
  • Players Code of conduct – forward to players and record acknowledgement

WEEKLY

  • Poll - Create poll in Team chat for players availability that week
  • Game card - Fill out game card (names and numbers) and photograph for Avon Hockey Association recorder
  • Reminders - Post reminder in team chat re week’s canteen/lolly/umpire duty

AS REQUIRED 

  • Passing on any relevant comms from NHC to team players/ parents
  • Providing any team news to NHC for socials

SEASON END

  • Uniforms - Collecting all shirts end of season / returning deposits
  • Gifts - organise end of season gifts
