'Our experienced Coaches do make it lots of fun to learn Water Polo'

Our Term 2, 2024 Water Polo Skills/Drills Training program will commence on Sunday 5th May 2024 and run through to Sunday 7th July 2024, with the exception of no sessions running on 9th June, because of the holiday weekend and 30th June, the pool is not available.  8 weeks in total.  The cost is $160.00 per player for the term.  Players are to pay entry into the Warringah Aquatic Centre each week of attendance.

Depending on the number of registrations ideally we would like to run the session in separate age groups and genders....

  • Born 2011, Born 2012 & Older
  • Born 2013 & 2014 - Experienced group
  • Born 2013 & 2014 - Beginner group
  • Born 2015 & Younger

As in previous terms we run our programs in age groups to align with Water Polo NSW Metro competition summer season and Water Polo Australia National Youth Championship Festival, to better prepare our players.  Moving into the summer 2024/2025 season the U12 age group will be players Born 2013 & 2014, the U14 age group will be players Born 2011 & 2012 and the U16 age group will be players Born 2009 & 2010....

These sessions focus on skills development and techniques, egg beater kick, passing, catching, shooting, counter attack, defending and body positioning.  For each age group session players will be assessed and be placed in groups of equal ability, so they can keep progressing their skills.

Player development is continually assessed by our Coaches so as to provide them with best opportunity to be the best player they can be.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT PLAYERS ARE REGISTERED IN THEIR CORRECT AGE GROUPS.  WE DO HAVE LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE IN EACH AGE GROUP... SO REGISTER EARLY, AS NOT TO MISS OUT.

Our experienced Coaches are being supported by our Junior Representative boys and girls.  We are so lucky to have them to share their knowledge and experience.

Swimming is a very important part of being a successfull Water Polo player.  Any player wishing to go to the next level for water polo , we highly recommended that you join Swim squad training once or twice a week.
