2026 Nagambie Regatta

What a weekend it was!  Mother Nature smiled on us for two days with exceptional sunshine and minimal wind (most appreciated by rowing competitors!) for us to host 1400 athletes, as well as their supporters and coaches over the 2-day regatta.

The first week of January 2026 proved to be a challenging one for the region with temperatures in excess of 40C, catastrophic fire conditions, and a bushfire at Longwood resulting in devastating consequences for thousands of residents and farmers in the region.

Every stroke matters when you've only got 500m of water available to beat your opponents. That's what Alastair Isherwood faced this past weekend when he lined up for the NSW Sprint Championships at Sydney International Regatta Centre.

64th Head of the Yarra November 22nd

Melbourne weather threatened rain all week, but Mother Nature came in clutch in the end with the rain holding off until the festivities were done for the 64th Head of the Yarra event on Saturday.  A total of 281 8+ crews from around Australia and New Zealand raced their way from the city up to Hawthorn Rowing club competing in the pinnacle of the Victorian head racing season.
