Every stroke matters when you've only got 500m of water available to beat your opponents.  That's what Alastair Isherwood faced this past weekend when he lined up for the NSW Sprint Championships at Sydney International Regatta Centre where Sydney served up some early morning beautiful rowing conditions for the scullers.  Congratulations to Alastair for coming up with the silver medal as the second youngest competitor in his masters single scull division (handicaps matter when you're in the masters division!)
