Competitions
Mount Gambier Softball League provides opportunities for people of different ages, abilities and experience levels to get involved in softball.
Our competitions are based at Blue Lake Sports Park, home to our five clubs - Concordes United, Demons, Millicent Bandits, Wanderers and Warriors.
Whether you're an experienced player, returning to softball after some time away, or completely new to the game, you can get involved.
Senior Competition
Our Senior competition is the heart of the MGSL season, with seven teams currently competing across our five clubs.
Players of varying experience and ability compete together, making it a great option for established players and those looking to return to the game or try softball for the first time.
Home Run Heroes
Home Run Heroes is our introductory softball program for children aged 5-12 years.
Introduced by MGSL in the 2025/26 season, the program is now entering its second year and gives children a fun, supportive introduction to throwing, catching, hitting, running, and the basic skills of softball.
It’s all about having fun, building confidence and giving our next generation the opportunity to discover softball.
Social Softball
New to MGSL this season, Social Softball is another way to encourage more people to get involved in our game.
The focus is on participation, fun, and giving people an opportunity to experience softball in a relaxed, social environment without the commitment of joining the regular senior competition.
It’s perfect for newcomers, former players looking to pick up the glove again, or anyone who simply wants to have a go.
Representative Softball
MGSL also provides opportunities for eligible players to represent Mount Gambier as various tournaments and championships throughout the year, such as Country Championships and Masters tournaments.
Representative softball gives players the opportunity to challenge themselves, develop their game and proudly represent our league.
There is a place for everyone at MGSL – Why not, come and give softball a go!
