Welcome to Minchinbury Little Athletics

Minchinbury Little Athletics Centre (LAC) holds our competitions on Friday nights located at Minchinbury Reserve, Minchin Drive, Minchinbury.

Competition 

Minchinbury LAC offers competitions for all registered athletes aged 3 (born 2022 and 3 at the time of registration) till the age of 20.

Our first competition night is Friday, 19th September 2025 starting at 6pm.

Competition starts at 6:00pm and we would like to have the children and the parents there by 5:50pm so that parents can assist in the running of the night.

Please ensure you have completed the full registration process including: pick up of registration packs, bibs and purchase of any compulsory uniform needs before the start of our first competition night. Details of pick up can be found in the welcome letter upon registration. 

Finishing time for Tiny Tots and 6's should be around 7.30pm, all other age groups should be finished by 8.30pm to 9.30pm depending on the support of the parents and number of athletes in each age group.

As we begin a new season please be patient with event run times and finishing times as people are learning how to run events and children are learning how to particpate in these events. 

Volunteering and committee.

We are always looking for more volunteers; they are vital to the successful running of each competition night. So if you think you might be able to help even in a small way, come and speak to any of your friendly committee members!

Competition pathways

Through Minchinbury LAC and in conjunction with Athletics NSW and Australian Athletics, we offer a number of competitive pathways for children aged 8 and above. Please keep an eye out for more information as it becomes available. 

Events throughout the year

Throughout the year we host a number of events and fun nights. A list of these can be found on our calendar tab, or in the centre handbook. We will also post reminders about these events throughout the season. 

Weather updates

While we endeavour to run each night and give as much notice as possible if a competition night is cancelled, unfortunately some nights we are at the mercy of the weather. In these cases please assume that the competition will run as normal. We will endeavour to post an update if a competition is not going ahead on Facebook and via email, however we can not guarantee the time frame how close to competition start this will be.
