Membership is for a year beginning 1 October and ending 31 September of the following year. Annual renewal is automatic unless member provides notification of cancellation in writing. An email will be sent to all players prior to the automatic renewal, offering them the chance to cancel their membership.
All annual playing fees must be paid in full the Friday prior to the first scheduled game of the season. Metro Softball reserves the right to withdraw membership from a player if this obligation is not met. Approval for transfers from Metro Softball Club will not be signed off if a player has outstanding fees owing from the previous season - this includes the return of a FULL uniform.
Fees and obligations owing to another Auckland softball club must be paid in full prior to applying for Metro Softball membership. No member may be affiliated or indebted to another softball club while registered with Metro Softball.
All players are to return Uniforms, distributed by the club, to Metro Softball Club at the end of each playing season. Failure to do so will result in a replacement cost invoice being sent to players. Should a player loose their uniform during the season, they will receive an invoice for the cost of purchasing a new uniform. Players wishing to transfer to alternate clubs will be unable to do so if they have uniforms outstanding. For Juniors and Seniors, the replacement cost of a playing shirt is $60+GST, playing pants is $50+GST and the cost for Tee-Ball (U6-U10) is $20+GST.
No member will bring Metro Softball into disrepute - on or off the field.
Every member will be familiar with the by-laws and policies of Auckland Softball Association and agrees to accept them in their entirety.
Every member agrees to respect and be governed by the Metro Mount Albert Sports Club constitution, and the Metro Softball Code of Conduct, accepting the committee's authority to make decisions for and within the club.
Members agree to participate in club activities as much and as often as possible, in a fair and fun spirit for the enjoyment and benefit of all.
Metro Softball Club is unable to offer refunds on fees paid.
Players receiving player scholarships must pay full fees if transferring to another club within the Auckland Softball Association the season following their scholarship.
