The Metro Softball Club is an established softball club based in the Auckland suburb of Mount Albert. With grades from social through to competitive, we have teams to suit every age and playing ability; From tee-ball to fastpitch. We were awarded "Club of the Year" at the Softball New Zealand awards in 2021!

How do you find us? The Metro Clubrooms are based at Phyllis Reserve, just behind Unitec in Mount Albert. We’re easy to find and on a big park with plenty of space to play; with 3 competitive grade fast-pitch softball diamonds (which includes a skin and turf), as well as Tee-ball/Junior diamonds. The softball season runs from late October until Late March, and games are played on Saturday - morning for tee-ball and Junior teams, and afternoons for seniors.

GRADES FOR THE 2023-2024 SEASON
Tee-Ball: Under 6 and Under 8
Rookie Sox: Under 10 - Under 12 Mixed (Non-Competition)
Junior Softball: Under 13 Mixed, Under 15 Boys & Girls, Under 17 Boys, Under 18 Girls
Senior Softball: Divisions 1 - 3 (Men and Women)
Premier & Reserve NFS Grades: Women
* NB: Teams registered as of October 26th 2023 will be numbers dependant

A deposit of $40 is required at the time of registration. The balance is due prior to the first game of the season. Players with outstanding fees will not be available for team selection until payment is received in full.
