Maroondah Volleyball is recruiting Coaches and Assistant Coaches for 2027!

Whether you're an experienced coach, a current player looking to take your first steps into coaching, or someone passionate about helping others develop, we want to hear from you.

Coaching Opportunities for 2027

We are seeking Coaches and Assistant Coaches across our programs:

• Little Spikers / Spikets: Introducing pre-school children to volleyball through fun, movement and fundamental skills.

• VolleyKids: Developing primary school-aged children through engaging, skills-based volleyball programs.

• Maroondah Eastern Institute of Volleyball (MEIV): Coaching secondary school-aged athletes across introductory, junior, intermediate, development and advanced programs.

• Maroondah Cobras: Coaching teams competing in Volleyball Victoria's Premier, State and Youth League competitions, from developing junior athletes through to senior representative teams.

Who Are We Looking For?

We're interested in hearing from people with a range of coaching experience, including those who have never formally coached before.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Enthusiasm for volleyball and a passion for developing athletes.

• A positive, inclusive and encouraging coaching approach.

• A willingness to collaborate, share ideas and learn from others.

• Commitment to helping athletes achieve their potential.

• Current coaching accreditation or a willingness to work towards accreditation with our support.

You don't need to be an experienced coach to get started. Assistant coaching opportunities provide a great introduction, with support and development available to help you build your confidence and skills.
