We Support
The Sunday Youth League is Maroondah Volleyball’s games-only competition for secondary school athletes who want to play volleyball in a structured, supportive competition environment.
This registration option is for athletes who are not participating in Sunday MEIV training and are looking to take part in matches only.
Important:
Athletes registered in the Sunday MEIV program already have Youth League games included and do not need to register separately for this option.
Day: Sunday
Game Time:4:15pm – 5:15pm
Format: Weekly matches held during the school term
Who: Secondary school athletes
Participants register as individuals only.
Teams are formed and allocated by Maroondah Volleyball to ensure balanced and enjoyable competition.
The Sunday Youth League focuses on game experience, teamwork, and enjoyment of volleyball in a competitive but development-focused environment.
The Sunday Youth League operates during the school term.
Sunday 8 February – Sunday 29 March 2026
No games:Sunday 8 March (Public Holiday weekend)
Sunday 19 April – Sunday 21 June 2026
Sunday 12 July – Sunday 13 September 2026
Sunday 5 October – Sunday 30 November 2026
No games:Sunday 1 November (Melbourne Cup long weekend)
Sunday Youth League (Games Only):$50 per term
All participants must hold a current Volleyball Victoria membership and be registered with Maroondah Volleyballbefore registering for MEIV.

The following membership categories are applicable to MEIV:
Training Membership(minimum required for MEIV training)
Recreational Membership(required if participating in Local League competitions)
Full Membership(required if participating in Victorian Volleyball League (VVL))
Most athletes only require a Training membership to participate in MEIV.
If an athlete later progresses into Local League or VVL, their membership can be upgraded at any time.
