Manly women's field 3 turf teams

Sydney Womens Hockey League (ML2 and ML4)

Manly fields two teams in the Sydney Womens Hockey League (SWHL) which is the top competition in Sydney. The season runs from the start of April with finals normally taking place in September. On the off season many of our players compete in more social indoor and summer competitions which take place around the Northern Beaches.

Our ladies 1st team compete in Metro League 2 and are our ladies 2nd team compete in Metro League 4 with games also on a Sunday normally at Olympic Park. Both are competitive standards with many rep level players amongst them. 

2024 SWHL Proposed Competition Dates

Round 1 - 7th April

No Play dates - 28th April (U18s comp TBC), 9th June (long weekend), 28th Jul (Masters comp)

Final series - 1st Sept (SF), 8th Sept (Finals), 15th Sept (GF)

Sydney North Womens Competition 

Our 3s play in the Sydney North Women's competition.  Again running from April through to September with games played every Sunday at fields such as Ryde, Pennant Hills and Kuringai. The Sydney North competition is well suited to those looking for a more social but still competitive game of hockey. 

Our ladies 3rd team competes in Division A of the Sydney North competition.

For 2024 Season we have nominated a 2nd team into the Sydney North Comp.
